Ox-Bow School of Art and Artist Residency, Saugatuck, Michigan
Mucha was awarded a Grellner Scholarship to study at Ox-Bow during the summer of 2008. Loretta Grellner was a faculty member at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and served as the Director of Ox-Bow in the 1960s. When she passed away in 2002, Grellner bequeathed this scholarship fund for women.  Dedicated to the arts since 1910, Ox-Bow encompasses woodlands, dunes, a lagoon and includes studies in Ceramics, Glass, Painting, Printmaking, Drawing and Metals.

CAAP 2008 Grant for Individual Artists
Mucha was awarded a Community Arts Assistance Program Grant (CAAP Grant) for 2008 through the Cultural Grants Division of the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs, through funding provided by The Illinois Arts Council.

The Ragdale Foundation for Artists and Writers
Mucha was selected for a 2008 artist residency at The Ragdale Foundation for Artists and Writers in Lake Forest, IL.  Arts and Crafts Architect Howard Van Doren Shaw, designed The Ragdale House and Barn in 1897 amidst the prairie and savanna landscape, as an artistic retreat for his family in Lake Forest. The Ragdale Foundation for Artists and Writers was established by Shaw’s granddaughter in 1976 as a non-profit artists’ community that brings together composers, artists and writers from all over the world to work in a supportive and secluded creative environment
